FAQ

Q: What should I bring with my dog?
A: Only their food and any medication (Please bring all medications in the original bottle from your vet or pharmacy with the dosage instructions on the label.)
Note – if you forget to bring your dog’s food, it will be $5/meal for Royal Canin GI.

Q: Does my dog need to be vaccinated?
A: Yes. We require a current rabies vaccine, bordetella, canine influenza and distemper/lepto/parvo along with a negative fecal test result. We must have a current vaccine report from your vet at least 5 business days prior to drop off.

Q: Does my dog have to be spayed or neutered?
A: We require that all dogs over the age of 6 months be spayed or neutered.

Q: My dog doesn’t get along well with other dogs and/or needs a quiet space if (s)he gets stressed.  Is Barks a good fit for us?
A: Unfortunately, due to the communal set up, we do not offer private areas and are unable to have dogs who have shown any kind of aggression towards other animals.

Q: My dog has been sick but is on antibiotics – can I still bring him/her for daycare?
A: No.  We take the health and safety of our animals seriously. We require your dog to have completed the antibiotics and have an “all clear” from the vet.
